Janet Colclaser

Janet’s JLOCC placements include President, Projects Vice-President, Sustaining Advisor to several committees and the Board of Directors, Training Chair, and Future Planning Chair. She also served on the AJLI Board of Directors’ Resolutions Committee, which facilitated AJLI’s public policy process.

Currently, Janet is a member of the Advisory Councils of the Friends of CASA and the Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF).

As a founding Board member of OCCF, she served as Vice-President and Grantmaking Chair, which oversaw donations of many millions of dollars. Janet was on the Boards of the Volunteer Center (now OneOC) and the American Red Cross – Orange County, and was a founding Board member of the Irvine Public Schools Foundation. Appointed to Irvine’s Planning Commission, Janet served as Chair and Vice Chair. She was honored to receive JLOCC’s Kathryn Raulston Community Service Award.

An Irvine City Councilmember’s aide, she and her husband divide their time between their homes in Irvine and Colorado. Their grown sons live in Dallas and Philadelphia, and Janet visits them often.
