Meredith Kwok is an East Coast transplant who has been living the sunny Southern California life for the last five years with her husband, Mark. A CT native and New Yorker at heart, Meredith now spends her days as an UC Irvine Anteater in the role of Director of Alumni Relations for the Samueli College of Health Sciences. In this role, Meredith is a self-proclaimed “people person” and loves the relationship building aspect of her role motivating young alumni to reconnect and give back to their alma mater.
JLOCC has played a crucial role in Meredith’s life by establishing her sense of belonging in Orange County after moving across the county from family, friends and her career. This same aspect of relationship building in JLOCC, along with the opportunity for personal growth in a safe environment, has made her League experience so rewarding for her. She is excited to take on the new challenge of EVP-E / EVP and it is because of the support and encouragement of fellow League sisters that gave her the courage to apply!
In this role, Meredith wishes to be a positive, energetic, approachable and trustworthy leader. She hopes that by sharing her passion for JLOCC she can inspire other members to build deeper bonds with fellow members, and a strong commitment to their roles resulting in a similar gratifying experience.
Her passions outside of UCI and JLOCC include precious time with family and friends on the east and west coasts, New York City, the coast of southern Maine, a good book, an even better glass of wine and not cooking dinner.
