THE JLOCC EXPERIENCE

The Junior League of Orange County, CA (JLOCC) was founded in 1956 with a rich history of volunteer service. Throughout its tenure, the League has provided its members with training, leadership skills, and the opportunities to make a difference in the lives of citizens throughout Orange County. Today, it is a diverse group of dedicated women working to make a positive impact in the Orange County community by focusing on community action, education and advocacy for women and children. As a nonprofit, its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

JLOCC has more than 350 Members. Our membership includes executives, community leaders, entrepreneurs, business owners and mothers. Collectively, JLOCC members provide 500+ hours of service to various events and organizations annually.

 

ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL

As a member of JLOCC, you are also a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (“AJLI”). Comprised of 292 Leagues in four countries, AJLI has been providing support, guidance and leadership development opportunities to member Leagues since 1921.

True to their mission, today’s League members work at the forefront of social reform, tackling the toughest and most critical issues of the day—including childhood nutrition and obesity, human trafficking, foster care, juvenile justice, teen self-esteem, cybercrimes, literacy and the environment, all for the purpose of enhancing the social, cultural and political fabric of civil society.
